Get on the Block!

You may have seen my post about Writer’s Block a few months back when I performed there. Well, I’m advertising it today as it’s for a good cause!

Writer’s Block is back on December 2nd for it’s final appearance of 2009. What’s great is that the lovely organisers are donating ALL of their proceeds to charity! The Boyhood to Manhood Foundation to be exact (http://www.usatfbmf.com/)

There will be poetry, live music, a short film screening, an electric atmosphere and a room full of London’s finest young creatives & lovers of human art. It’s a great night, and I can tell you that from personal experience. There’s also a first for Writer’s Block – OPEN MIC! So if you want to try your hand at entertaining the crowd at Juno Bar, now’s your chance!

The Features are well known, practically legendary poets, Polarbear and shortMAN & Ade Omotayo who is a backing singer for Amy Wino!
